Al ShepetukALEXANDER “AL” SHEPETUK
President

Al Shepetuk is a proven entrepreneur, having started and built four successful professional service practices. His experience includes working with many of the CaTLI’s stakeholders. He has helped manufacturing and distribution companies improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their supply chain. In addition, he has worked with K -12 and higher education institutions, non-profits and state and local government transportation agencies to improve their operations.

Shepetuk’s logistics experience includes managing dozens of logistics projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain operations. For example, he worked with one of Southern California’s major corporations to develop their logistics strategy, evaluate their inventory management processes and select and implement a state-of-the art supply chain software package that improved their logistics operations.

His transportation experience includes leading a critically important six month review of the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LAMTA) subway projects in the mid 90’s. The final report which was quickly embraced by the LAMTA’s Board, CEO and Construction Division and provided a roadmap that helped restore the LAMTA’s credibility. In addition, Shepetuk led teams that helped the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) develop a planning process and an integrated strategic plan across LAWA’s four airports.

Most recently, Shepetuk was responsible for managing the logistics of a consumer products company that manufactured in China and shipped products to the U.S. via steamship carriers.

Shepetuk has an M.B.A. from Stanford University and B.S. and Master degrees in engineering from New York University.
